Sometime in Venezuela you come across what would seemingly be marketed as “vintage” brands in the United States. Apparently, this brand is only sold in Venezuela, and certain southeast Asian countries. As weird as that is, I’m perpetually amused when I come across brands like these in Venezuela, not for the least reason because they are in English.
Whatever their reason for being in this crazy economy and whatever their marketing strategy for their target Venezuelan consumer, it works for me.
Useless fact according to Wikipedia: “In 1962 the Dutch artist Wim T. Schippers emptied a bottle in the sea near Petten. He managed to make it an international news item.”
Useless fact according to me: “In 2015 the child Graham C. Stein-Ross emptied a bottle in his mouth in the Las Mercedes gas station in Caracas while waiting for his family’s car to go through the car wash. He managed to keep the orange stain on his upper lip until the next morning.”
