Araras en Caracas or “Cararacas”

In English: Macaw; in Spanish: Guacamaya; in Portuguese: Arara.

Our high school counselor, Terran, posted this video to Facebook and I thought it quite lovely. Not only are these magnificent birds readily seen flying in pairs all over the city, it is also worth noting that Arara is the Capoeira name of a student and good family friend. This one’s for you, Wilder.
