AASSA Conference, Sao Paulo: 4 Days of Smart Decisions

A couple weeks ago eight teachers and I were sent to represent ECA at the annual conference for AASSA (Association of American Schools in South America). I gave the same presentation that I gave earlier in the year at the VANAS conference, and it went quite well.

Besides “I love you,” the last thing Kat said to me was, “Make smart decisions.” I’m so glad she did because we applied her advice at every turn and the trip was infinitely better for it. I can honestly say that I learned a lot from all the workshops that I can apply to my teaching and share with colleagues at ECA. Meanwhile, the conference administrators lovingly left us with plenty of free time…during which we made smart decision after smart decision.
