Margarita Island

A 35 minutes flight from the Caracas airport  was where we relaxed and played during our Thanksgiving weekend. (Truth: door to door travel time was 5 hours on the way there and 9 hours on the way back.)

It wasn’t a traditional Thanksgiving by any means, but we were able to spend quality family time together and reflect on all the blessings we have been given. We have much to be thankful for; the list is long. And if you are reading this, you can rest assured that you are on that list. Thank you for being a part of our lives, however great or small.

Our conclusion regarding Margarita Island: though it is very tranquil and beautiful, the uncertainty of Venezuelan airline travel makes us want to check out other mainland beaches before returning to the island.
