Playa la Cinta Strikes Again

The street we live on, Calle la Cinta, is often running with water thanks to the less-than-adequate sewer system that some call Caracas. The water you see on the ground has been running steadily since we came back from vacation. And when it rains the waves come, turning Calle la Cinta into Playa la Cinta. It’s not fresh tap water — that much we know for sure. Today an unassuming taxi, unfamiliar with driving on the beach, fell victim to Playa la Cinta.
